DIY Harry Potter Wand

Hi There!

Today I did a fun, really easy craft with my (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Dragon obsessed, omgeee biffle!) friend Monica. She also happens to be an amazing artist so please like her Facebook page (which I'm proudly a manager of) MonicaWangArt! https://www.facebook.com/MonicaWangArt

We made Harry Potter wands! Yes. Those are her legitimate Harry Potter specs and a legitimate magic spell book.

Materials:

• Chopstick or stick
• Beads
• Hot glue
• Paint (We used colours like brown, black, green, gold)

                             

Method:

1. Apply hot glue on the chopstick in the pattern that you want.

2. When the glue has 'half dried' and malleable, you can shape the glue even better. 

3. Add beads for more bumps.

4. Paint with a base colour and add detail. Ta-da! There you have it! Wingardium leviosa!
