DIY Drawstring Sunglasses Case

Hello everyone! Happy Holidays! Today I'm showing you how to make your very own, quick and easy, hand sewn DIY sunglasses case! :) You can totally customize the fabric and ribbon to suit your style.

Materials:
  • Ribbon
  • Fabric
  • Sewing kit

What to do:
  1. Fold your fabric to double it and adjust it to be bigger than the side of your sunglasses :) Then pin down the sides. (Make sure the bad side is facing up when you pin the sides down)
  2. Sew an L shape (shown by the red dots) but don't sew the longer side up all the way (leave a couple centimeters of space).
  3. Fold down the left over parts that you have not sewn and pin them in place.
  4. Sew along the flaps at the top you have pinned down.
  5. Flip your case right side out so you see two little loops at the top to thread the string through.
  6. Attach a pin to the end of your ribbon and use that to help feed the ribbon through the loop.
  7. Cut off the excess ribbon and tie the end into a little knot to create the drawstring.
I hope you enjoyed this quick little DIY. I have another blog post coming soon :)

Bye for now,
