Three Quick and Yummy Afterschool Snacks

Hello everyone!
I suck at cooking because I suck at following instructions but nonetheless I have brought to you 3 quick and simple snack ideas. I love to eat these afterschool because they don't take long to prepare and are super delicious.
Disclaimer: I didn't mean for these to turn out healthy-ish, it just kind of happened. But if you want a bag of chips, eat a bag of chips.

Snack Idea Numero Uno (ooh exotic):
Apple Nachos
This is really yummy and easy to make. It puts a twist on the traditional apple slices. To eat this simply dip an apple slice into the peanut butter or cream cheese frosting and dip that into the nuts. Yum!
Ingredients:
  • peanut butter
  • nuts (I used cashews because that was what I had)
  • apples
  • cream cheese
  • icing
Method:
  1. cut up an apple (I'm using a handy apple cutter here)
  2. mix 1.5 tablespoons of icing in with a large dollop of cream cheese (this makes the cream cheese frosting)
  3. put the peanut butter in a dipping bowl
  4. cut up the nuts
Snack Idea #2:
Basic Green Smoothie
This smoothie is really yummy and good for you. It looks super hipster too if you put it in a jar mug - strongly recommended.
Ingredients:
  • spinach or kale
  • one small banana
  • half an apple
  • a short length of cucumber
  • juice of your choice (I used pineapple juice)
Method:
  1. chop up all your veges and fruit into smaller pieces
  2. chuck the pieces into a blender
  3. blend it up
Snack Idea #3:
Cheese and Tomato Crackers - but fancier
I ate these on my bed with fluffy blankets and throws and The Maze Runner (which I am currently reading and loving!) I love this snack it's actually sooo good.
Ingredients:
  • hummus
  • feta cheese
  • crackers (I love water crackers for these)
  • garlic salt (this is life)
  • a tomato (very exciting)
  • white pepper
Method:
  1. spread a generous amount of hummus on each cracker
  2. add the tomatoes
  3. crumble feta cheese on top
  4. add a generous amount of white pepper
  5. sprinkle with garlic salt
I hope you guys give these an try because they're absolutely delicious. Tell me what you think in the comments :)

Bye for now,
