DIY Teacup Jewellery Stand

Hello!
Firstly, I'm going to start off with an apology, I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while - school is getting hectic coming up to exams. I had prepared 3 other DIYs but I felt like they weren't good enough for my blog.

On a happier note, I'm going to show you how to create this super easy DIY teacup jewellery stand. I love how it's practical with the little cup section for rings or delicate jewellery/earrings, and the larger part for chunky pieces. I think this would look really cute as a little decor piece too.

My favourite part by far though is how you can personalize these teacups to your taste. Here are two other combinations I made. You can always glue the teacups with the stand together to make it more permanent, but let's be real here, room decor can get boring. Blu-tack was a great temporary solution to sticking the teacups and stand together so I could easily switch them if I wanted to.

Things you need:
  • An assortment of teacups (op shops are great for cheap, vintage ones)
  • A ceramic pillar stand (I got mine from Redcurrent but you can always use a candle stick holder or a champagne flute turned upside down)
  • Blu tack (if you want it switch up your teacups every down and then)
  • or Permanent glue for china
Method:
  1. Put a few strips of Blu tack under your teacup
  2. Firmly press the teacup down onto the plate
  3. Put a few strips of Blu tack onto the edges of your pillar
  4. Firmly stick that down onto the back side of the plate
  5. Toss in your jewellery and bits and pieces!
It's as simple as that!

Let me know if you give this DIY a try :D I would love to hear from you.

Bye for now,
