Mini DIY: Painted Jar Lids

Hey guys,

A cute way to spice up your jars is to paint the lids, I often recycle jars and use them for other things however the lids can sometimes be branded and don't look as nice. 

Here's an example:

Don't you just paint it? No. Because, the lid is metal you must apply a layer of something before you paint the lid.

Materials:

• Normal paint
• Clear nail polish
• A lid

Just paint the lid with nail polish, then paint it with normal paint. After you get your desired colour simply go over the lid again with clear nail polish for a glossy jar lid.

And that's all there is to it :)
