DIY Twine Wrapped Vase

Hey There!
Today I'll be showing you how to upcycle a cheap vase into a rustic, twine wrapped, decorative vase.
I love the $2 shop (the dollar store) and I got almost all these materials from there! Enjoy :)
The total cost of this project was only around $5 excl. the flowers. This was really easy for me to make and only took around 30mins max.

Materials (play the short video):

  • Cheap Glass Vase - you could also use a jar. I got this from the dollar store for $2
  • Medium-Thick twine - $2 from the dollar store
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Optional: Fake flowers - You could use real flowers or even a candle

Method:
  • Simply apply a small dot of hot glue
  • Wrap the twine over the hot glue around the vase
  • Decorations: Insert some flowers or a candle into the vase. You could also tie a ribbon or more twine around the vase. Ta-da! There you have it! A cute twine wrapped vase in 3 easy steps!
